omuk.dev privacy policy

Nothing while you browse. The site has no analytics, no cookies, no sign-up forms and no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from omuk.dev itself. Omuk records a download when you start one, and keeps a message you write on the support page. Both are described below.

The download buttons fetch the apps from dl.omuk.dev, a server run by Omuk. Each time you download an app there, Omuk records the time, the app, the country, region and city your connection comes from, your network provider, your operating system, device type and browser (read from the user agent), and the page that linked to the download. Your IP address is not stored; a one-way hash of it is kept to count how many different people download each app.

We use these records only to see how many people download each app, and from where. They are never sold or shared. Update checks and updates installed from inside an app are not recorded.

When you send the form on the support page, your message, your email address and the app you chose go to markpad.md, a service run by Omuk, where they are kept as a private record that only Omuk can read. The country your connection comes from is recorded with it. Your IP address is not stored; a one-way hash of it is kept to stop floods of messages.

We use them only to reply and to fix problems. They are never sold or shared.

The site is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard logs of requests, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

If the site starts collecting or sharing data in a way this policy does not cover, we will update this page and the date at the top first.
